Building Health in 2020

Whenever great changes are in the midst, there are equally great shifts of energy taking place. Our country is in an election year, emotions are rising, and the Corona-virus promoters are spreading fear everywhere. It’s easy in times like this to lose your center and lose sight of your hope. These shifts can be confusing and leave you feeling out of balance. I encourage you my friends, that this is not a time of great darkness, rather, it is a time of great awakening. A time when we are being called to wake up to our full potential and power as human beings. Just as the potter’s clay takes a beating before it is molded into a vessel of beauty, so do we as we learn to renew our health, our lives and our spirit.

I truly believe that we as humans are being asked to step into our full potential. We must move past the fear which causes us to give our control of our health to others. It’s time to realize that you have an inner healer within you, and your body can make its own medicine.

Personally, I do not put much attention on the Corona-virus, I do not watch the news, or follow “bad” news feeds. I am talking to you about this because I know many of you are worrying about it. I do not resonate with this virus; I do not resonate with catching a cold or getting sick; therefore, my body does not attract these things. It's like tuning your radio, you are not going to get sick from listening to Heavy Metal music if you never tune into the station that plays it. I keep my focus and attention tuned to creating health, to improving my health and building my vitality. I make a point to be grateful every day, and to take time to connect with my Creator. I take time to resonate with peace, to enjoy the beauty of nature and to share conversations with great friends. Illness resonates with fear and separation while health resonates with love. You are never alone; you are always loved, and you are always being guided – embrace this.

Many of you are just beginning to travel on this road to good health and vitality. Perhaps you have a disease, or illness you have not transformed yet. Perhaps you are just learning to eat healthy but “not quite there yet”. That’s ok, keep working daily to move in a positive direction and you will get there. In this case you may want to take some supplements to give your immune system extra support while you work on re-building your health There are many wonderful herbs that can help to build your immune system. Let me talk about a few these:

Liquid Chlorophyll – this green pigment of plants is used by the plant to create energy, oxygen and nutrients. It is part of the process that captures energy from the sun. Chlorophyll is often referred to as “a sunshine particle”, in my studies in sound healing therapy I learned that chlorophyll resonates with the 528 hz. frequency of divine love, transformation, healing of our DNA and miracles. It carries a very positive health building frequency. I’ve been drinking chlorophyll in my water during the day and blessing the water with a prayer of gratitude – thankful for God's healing energy which he places in his plants. By doing this I remind myself to keep my focus on health and healing.

Chlorophyll helps to build the blood, balance pH, and detoxify the body. It is high in antioxidants which helps build the immune system. Chlorophyll helps maintain healthy microbes in the digestive tract, which is another key to creating a healthy immune system. And it tastes great, its very refreshing and I love to drink it during the summer months.

I also take an ounce of Ionic Minerals each morning, to obtain the 77 trace minerals which build health and vitality. I put Ultimate GreenZone in my morning smoothie. It is a great way to start the day and build your health. I eat organic and natural foods whenever possible, I exercise daily and make sure I get enough sleep. If I get stressed, I deal with it, I evaluate it, work through it, or dissolve it. I try not to carry stress around, as it will wear the immune system down. And since we live in a stressful society I take extra stress supporting herbs daily, like Ashwagnadha , AdaptaMax or Adrenal Support. I also take extra antioxidants when my immune system is down, or when people around me are ill. Defense Maintenance is a wonderful formula for this, I have used it with family and clients for over 25 years. This formula contains A,C,E, zinc and selenium in a base of cruciferous vegetables and immune building herbs.

Extra Immune Support: Since we are all human, there are times when stress gets the best of us and we get run down. When this happens to me, I jump on it – My favorite formulas are Nature's Immune Stimulator, Echinacea and Olive leaf, I will take 2-3 capsules several times a day to boost my immune system. In a couple days I start to feel better again. When I need to support my lungs, I choose mullein and Chinese Lung Support, as well as Garlic as it has an affinity to the lungs. If I get cold like symptoms and sinus drainage I grab for my CC-A and ALJ, they both are great for supporting respiratory health. We have so many wonderful herbs available to us to help build our health, I encourage you to learn more about them.

There’s much to be said about hot chicken soup, to keep the immune system strong and viruses at bay. So, pull out the crock pot and make up a big pot and then freeze it in portions so you can pull it out when anyone starts to get run down. The key is to put in a wide variety of vegetables, carrots, onions, tomatoes, okra, celery, etc. pack the soup full of nutrients and don’t forget lots of garlic (6 cloves for a quart). Garlic has an affinity for the lungs, it helps to breakup and thin mucus. It has both anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.

Garlic soup at the first signs of a cold:

6 cloves garlic

24 ounces of vegetable or chicken broth

A variety of vegetables including spicy ones like horseradish, onions and peppers

Sauté the garlic in a little olive oil for about 4 minutes, add broth and vegetables. Cook at a low simmer until veggies are soft. Discard the veggies (unless you want to eat them) and pour out the liquid and put aside.

Drink a 4-6 oz. cup of hot garlic soup 3-4 times a day while fighting a cold or cough. It really helps shorten the duration of the cold.

Blessings and health to you, Valerie
