Notice What you Notice

The other morning, I woke up and it was a cloudy, damp morning, certainly not the most inviting day for a walk outside. My first thought was “blah” day. But then I got to thinking about something Dr. Bruce Lipton said - that the subconscious mind operates at 40 million bits of data per second, whereas the conscious mind processes at only 40 bits per second. So basically, we register in our mind only a fraction of what we actually perceive with our 5 senses.

So, I got to thinking that if there is some 40 MILLION things outside - that I’m not registering with my conscious mind, then there must be something extraordinary out there on this “ordinary” day.

So, camera in hand I went outside to find the EXTRAORDINARY in the ordinary. Using my intuition to guide me I began to look for things that drew my attention. I looked for what I normally did not see. Well this experiment paid off and I had a great time too. Enjoy the pictures. I hope this encourages you to look for the extra-ordinary blessings that are available to you every day, when we pause a moment to “notice what we notice”.

Enjoy 😊 Valerie
