The Moment of Stillness

In the Moment of Stillness,

Between the winter and the spring,

My inner self battles to grow and evolve.

Fire and ice,

not conflicting, but finding balance,

Waiting for the emerging phoenix to come forth.

In the moment of stillness,

Between awareness and transformation,

Water frozen, but yearning to flow,

My inner battles are as gemstones,

to polish and bring forth their beauty.

Can you see it? Can you feel it?

This is life, the beauty of the creative force within us.
