Silhouettes in the Shadows of My Mind

Today, as I sought clarity on my life’s path -

to make sense of the roads I had chosen,

I reached beyond myself, longing for a higher view.

 

As I did, shadows rose before me –

familiar yet undefined, lingering in the quiet corners of my mind.

What were these nameless shapes woven from the past?

 

As I reflected, spirit whispered,

“These are the silhouettes of your soul’s forgotten desires,

fragments of yourself you once silenced,

They stand quietly waiting for you to notice them.

 

Allow them to speak to you,

To remind you of the dreams you set aside –

The longings you buried beneath doubt in time,

Allow them to illuminate your heart and mind.

 

Let them speak, let them stir your heart,

For within them lies not fear, but freedom.

In embracing them, you will understand the journeys you have walked,

the choices you have made.

 

And as the light illuminates your soul,

Igniting the passion deep within you,

The silhouettes will fade into wisdom,

Revealing clarity and understanding in its place.

Life is woven from fleeting moments,

The pause in the breath, the touch of golden sunrays,

Each a shimmering thread in the fabric of time.

They can slip past us silently, unnoticed,

Or beckon us to awaken,

To listen for their gifts, their quiet wisdom.

To be present in this moment,

To drink deeply of the now,

Living—because we are alive,

Feeling the pulse of connection,

Binding us to the earth, the sky,

And the infinite beauty of simply being.

May you take time to notice the simple things in life and enjoy each magical moment that unfolds before you.
