The Canvas of Ice
On a cold winter night, the Creator’s brush moved across the canvas of ice, creating a beautiful expression of beauty and wonder. As the first morning sunrays touched the frozen surface, the masterpiece was revealed. I pondered why the Creator had made such a beautiful painting knowing that the warm sun would so quickly erase the surface of the canvas. As I studied the canvas of ice, Spirit spoke to me about digging deep within ourselves, to find the essence of what we want to express and release it. For we are nourished by the things we create, whether they exist but for a few moments, or a lifetime. And however small our creations may be, they will be noticed by others who need them, to inspire and nourish their souls.
There is so much beauty to be found, even in the dark and cold of the night. And in everything that happens in life, there are intricate and beautiful details which will unfold when you shine the light on them. We all are all affected and shaped by the experiences we encounter as we move though the journey of our lives. It is through the art of expression that we can reflect the emotions and feelings we experience. There is beauty within you that wishes to be expressed, your unique expression of how you see the world. I encourage you to go within the depths of your heart and find these treasures, for these are the talents, and gifts you brought into this world to share.
May you bring forth the light you hold within you. Blessings, Valerie
Yes, the ice was naturally formed on my car windows. There is a red barn in the background, and the morning sun reflected in the side mirror, created the beautiful colors that lit up on the frozen ice.
